Welcome to Kawadzieścia, a haven for board game enthusiasts and casual café-goers alike, nestled in the heart of Warsaw at Tadeusza Krępowieckiego 10/U10. This charming café stands out not just for its vast collection of games but also for its welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or dive into an evening of strategic fun.

As you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy ambiance that invites you to settle down and explore the shelves lined with board games of all varieties. Whether you're a die-hard gamer or just looking to try something new, Kawadzieścia boasts an impressive selection that includes popular titles such as Gloomhaven, Ark Nova, and Twilight Struggle. The friendly staff is always on hand to help you navigate their extensive library, ensuring you find the perfect game to match your group’s mood.

Customers rave about the café’s inviting spirit and the helpfulness of its staff. Illia Dmytriiev notes, “Friendly and really helpful stuff, awesome choice of games and craft beer.” It’s clear that Kawadzieścia prioritizes customer experience, with a focus on creating a community space where fun and laughter are the main events. Although some have mentioned that hot beverages can be slightly on the pricier side, the quality and affordability of their food and snacks are consistently praised, making it worth every zloty.

The café’s charm extends beyond its vast gaming library. Luke Weston recounts his experience, saying, “The owner was really friendly and spoke English to help us learn a game to play.” This personal touch is what sets Kawadzieścia apart; being a place where barriers are broken, and everyone can enjoy a game night, regardless of their expertise.

For those planning a visit, especially on popular game nights like Fridays and Saturdays, it is highly recommended to reserve your table in advance. As Arek Krolak wisely advises, “Make a booking before coming as often it is full.” With limited seating, the cozy environment can fill up quickly, especially when groups of friends gather to test their gaming skills.

While Kawadzieścia does not currently offer vegan snack options, as noted by customer Paka Buraka, it is a space worth supporting and keeping an eye on for future menu expansions. Many visitors appreciate the café as a meeting point, stating it’s the “best place for board games in Warsaw.”

In short, Kawadzieścia is more than just a café; it’s a vibrant community space dedicated to the love of gaming. Whether you’re down for a casual night of snacks and drinks or eager to engage in an epic board game battle, this café delivers on all fronts. So gather your friends, grab a seat, and let the games begin!

Friendly and really helpful stuff, awesome choice of games and craft beer. Finally, new tables. Hot beverages slightly expensive, but food/snacks quality and price makes up for it. If you are planning to play on Friday/Saturday, better reserve the table - place isn't too big and gets crowded very fast.

The best board game cafe I have been to so far. Absolutely enormous selection of games, including some of the great hits (Gloomhaven, Ark Nova, Twilight Struggle, Frosthaven, Nemesis, Everdell, Cthulhu, etc. when I was there) as well as many others and dozens of fun small games. Food and drinks are very inexpensive. Atmosphere is very cozy. (But not many tables, so should reserve.)

Went here for some quiet drinks with some friends. Huge collection of games. The owner was really friendly and spoke English to help us learn a game to play (his recommend game was great) the drinks were good and cheap. I didn’t eat but cakes looked good. Would 100% go again

Very nice and cozy place for meeting with friends and boardgame geeks. Their snacks and drinks menu is not impressive, but tabletop games collection is very nice. In case of larger meetings don't forget to reserve a table. At the moment they don't have vegan snack options, but I hope they change it in the future. Worth to check out and play some new titles.

The best place for board games in Warsaw. The place has huge collection and the owner are always happy to explain the games to customers in either Polish or English.

This 'Board Games Cafe' in Wola is awesome. The board games collection is impressive, along with the owner who'll occasionally recommend some of the games to you.
